What You Can Expect

If you like my work, let me know your wedding date- if I’m free, let’s meet up, either in person or, if you’re far away, on Skype. It's as simple as that.

And over a gin/beer/kombucha we can chat. I shoot a select few weddings a year: yours will never be just a number.

On your wedding day itself...

I shoot in a relaxed, calm way, delivering beautiful images that chronicle what’s most important to you, and that recount the joy of you and those who’re closest to you. It’s candid- documentary-style, unposed - or put simply- it’s natural: my most memorable photos are taken when you’re just yourselves.

The images I make tell the story of your day: not a pretend fairy-tale with a set formula, but ones that stand out in their own right and are as unique as you both and the collection of people who have joined you to celebrate.

I’ll be capturing the nerves and the guffaws. The eyes, tearing-up. The hands, being squeezed. The discarded shoes as you rip it up on the dance floor. And the calm moments as you steal away to take in the amazing commitment you’ve just made.

I’ll take photos of guests - shots of them chatting, sharing a good joke or reminiscing. We can do a handful of posed shots because they’re tradition, and a record - and probably important to some of your more ‘grown up’ relatives.

After your wedding day is over... About six weeks later, I’ll deliver the photos of your wedding day via a digital transfer and give you links to your own private, online gallery. You can print them and share them as you wish.

Each image will stand in it’s own right, and also contribute to your unique story.

I’m based in Edinburgh and very happy to travel throughout Scotland and the UK.
